Abstract

Dirun, Duarato and Nualain Village are tourist destinations that are being planned to become the Fulan Fehan Tourism Village Area by Belu Regency tourism officer. These three villages are located in Lamaknen and South Lamaknen district which are the furthest districts from the center of Belu Regency Capital. The area which includes these three villages is an area that has the potential to be developed where the concept of village tourism is the right way because the lives of its people are still unique, beautiful natural scenery and culture that are still preserved like traditional rituals that are often carried out as the main attraction in the region. This research was conducted in Dirun, Duarato and Nualain Village in Belu Regency. The purpose of this study is to find out the development of fulan fehan tourism village area as a new destination in Belu Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. This type of research in scientific articles is qualitative descriptive research. Where descriptive data consists of respondents' answers and analyzed by the author. The development of Fulan Fehan tourism village area is included in the priority destination and managed by the government tourism officer of Belu Regency. The development of fulan fehan tourism village area is still in the planning stage so that it requires careful, serious and consistent handling from the management by inviting the village community to actively participate in its development so that the fulan fehan tourism village area can become a superior new destination in Belu Regency.
