Abstract

This scientific article examines the development of Goa Lowo which is a mainstay tourist attraction in Trenggalek Regency. This study aims to answer the problem formulation that is how the condition of existing facilities in the area of Goa Lowo tourist attraction and how efforts to increase tourist visits in tourist attractions Goa Lowo. The writing of this report is presented qualitatively to obtain an overview of information related to the potential and development of Lowo Goa. The method used to collect data is by observation, interview, documentation and triangulation. Data obtained then analyzed by using SWOT analysis. With the Lowo's possessed caveat as the longest and largest cave in Southeast Asia, Lowo Cave will be able to become a mainstay tour in Trenggalek Regency. By further maintaining cleanliness, developing facilities and infrastructure facilities in Goa Lowo, which will likely increase tourist visits. Goa Lowo attractions are managed by the Local Government of Trenggalek Regency, so funds for the development of pure tourist attractions of the government. The community also has a role in the management of the tourism object as POKDARWIS.
