Abstract

This type of research in scientific articles is a type of qualitative descriptive research. Descriptive data consists of respondents' answers and analyzed by the author. Katingan Regency is a Regency located in the Central Kalimantan Province Administratively, Katingan Regency consists of 13 sub-districts which have 154 villages and 7 villages. Katingan Regency has a humid tropical climate. Katingan Regency has a total area of 17,500 km2, originating from parts of East Kotawaringin Regency. Bukit Batu Tourism Attraction is an interesting tour that has a very large and wide expanse of rocks in the middle of the Borneo forest which also has a very stunning natural landscape. The Department of Culture of Youth and Sports Tourism as the manager of Bukit Batu Tourism Attraction has taken steps in developing this Bukit Batu Tourism Attractiveness by conducting a study bunding into developed and advanced tourist attractions. The community does not play a role in the running of tourism in Bukit Batu Tourism Attraction, the community believes that income or the impact of tourism in the tourist attraction of Bukit Batu is less than optimal can not meet daily needs.
