Abstract

Ponorogo is one of the district has a lot of cultural diversity such as special food, one of the typical food is Jenang Mirah. For the current generation in Ponorogo probably not many know of the existence of Jenang Mirah or less interest with this special food. For the typical food Jenang Mirah has an important role because as the identity of Ponorogo district so it is necessary to preserving this special food. This type of research uses qualitative methods. The location of the study took place at the Desa Josari Kecamatan Jetis. Data collection is done by Observation, Interview , quesioner and Documentation techniques. and Data analysis using SWOT analysis, for the identification of the influence of Internal and External factors the object in this study. The public and the goverment has an important role in preserving Jenang Mirah. Promoting and buy this typical food. Still reatins the quality and tastebof the Jenang Mirah order remains the same with the first as well as the strategy for the Jenang Mirah fixed interest.
