Abstract

Berau regency has a lot of natural beauty and blazing tourism, one of which is Danau Ni Lenggo. It takes management, development and promotion strategies from the government and the community to make Danau Ni Lenggo as anattraction Berau East Kalimantan. From the results of this study shows that Danau Ni Lenggo has enormous potential and appeal, but does not yet have official legality from the central government and Danau Ni Lenggo also still needs develop mentinterms of facilities, access and qualified Human Resources,because the roleofg over nmentandsocietyis needed in the management and development of Danau Ni Lenggo. The role of the government is also very necessary for the community so they have the supervisors who are always ready to help deal with problems that arise in the future. Human resource developmentis also needed to create strong ands table management institution so as tomanage and develop Danau Ni Lenggo become the leading tourism in Berau East Kalimantan.
