Abstract

Giri Manik Setren Tourism Object has very good potential to be developed, including the three waterfalls (Manikmoyo, Tejomoyo, and Condromoyo), Sendang Kanestren, Pertapan Raden Mas Said, Omah Ulo, and parks. It is necessary to develop Setren Giri Manik tourism object, while still paying attention to the carrying capacity needed by tourists such as facilities, services, access, promotions and so on. Especially accessibility to get to the three waterfalls. The role of the society is very important for the management and development of tourism object in Setren Giri Manik. Good cooperation is needed, especially in preserving forests, the society can improve the economy by building businesses such as trading food and beverages. The role of the Government is no less important in developing tourism object in Setren Giri Manik, the government as the manager directly cooperates with the Perhutani Office in the process of tourism activities, the government also plays a role in providing socialization to the society who participate in Setren Giri Manik tourism object management.
