Abstract

Purworejo Regency is a Regency in Central Java Province which is located on the southern coast of Central Java.In the field of tourism Purworejo Regency relies on the attractiveness of its beaches. One of them is Pagak Beach in Pagak Village. In this article, researchers used qualitative methods related to the development of Pagak Beach. In data collection conducted by observation, quisioner, interview and literature study. Data that has been obtained is then analyzed using SWOT analysis. From the results of the study, the authors get Pagak Beach has an interesting potential to be promoted and become a superior tourist attraction in Purworejo Regency. But the development on Pagak Beach has not gone well. Lack of attention from the government and inadequate human resources. Therefore it is expected from the Goverment and society Pagak Beach work together to strive to the maximum possible for the development of Pagak Beach.
