Abstract

Magelang is a city that has many interesting and good sights to visit by tourists. The Regency and City of Magelang tourism sector has the ability to be developed into a more competitive tourist area because many tourist attractions are valuable in it. This research was conducted using specifications, qualitative research and produced descriptive data by conducting interviews, questionnaires, observation, documentation, and triangulation. This research was conducted to determine the extent of development efforts carried out by the community in Gunungpring village, Pule, to increase tourist visits in Magelang Regency. The community has a very important role in developing Gunungpring tomb tourism. Currently the efforts made by the community are quite good, but still need improvement. The development strategy undertaken for Gunungpring Tomb is to optimize potential, cooperate with other tourism objects, improve and add advice and infrastructure, improve quality, charge retribution fees to optimize development, manage regulations, maximize promotion and educate the public to participate in development Gunungpring Tomb.
