Abstract

Batik Gumelem tourist village is a pretty tourist potential as a tourist attraction in the city itself. A very unique tours rarely found where tourists can make batik with guide crafters-a highly skilled crafters. in General. Batik Gumelem tourism village in Banjarnegara, Central Java is widely attract tourists from inside and outside the city. The appeal of the uniqueness of the Batik tour and enjoy a very rustic ambience. Method used Authors in doing research with qualitative methods. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. Data processing techniques with the reduction, display, verification, and triangulation and the conclusion of data analysis using SWOT analysis. The result of the research which can be shown by the authors in developing tourism that is the Government should help manage together the community in expanding it. (1) I.e. by way of empowering local communities the Government makes Pokdarwis through the regional tourism office for disseminating the tourist area (2) Effort in maintaining the beauty of nature by way of maintaining and adding facilities interesting provided the Government, the public or investors to tourists.
