Abstract

Preservation of Besurek Batik is a cultural heritage that claims to be almost extinct or lost in Bengkulu. The Bengkulu government built an organization that supports HR in the preservation of Batik Batik Besurek through a prize-winning competition. The involvement of the Bengkulu community requested the Provincial Government to be given potential in each of its fields in terms of telling history and in terms of craftsmen and employees. Promotion has been carried out in any form with social media, printing, and meetings through Bengkulu TV. This study discusses the preservation of Besurek Batik in Bengkulu. This study uses a qualitative method. used to obtain data or descriptive information the data collected is interviews, observation, triangulation, and data that is processed using SWOT analysis with resource persons from managers, communities and visitors.
