Abstract

Jantar Mantar, from Sanskrit, literally means as a tool for measuring. There are 5 locations in Jantar Mantar in India such as Jaipur, New Delhi, Varanasi, Mathura, and Ujjain. The most popular ones are those in Jaipur and Delhi. Jantar Mantar was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1724-1735. India is the country which is is rich in its culture, heritage, unique style temples, wildlife, sanctuaries etc. which will attract the tourists large in number. Delhi is the capital city of India and is regarded as the heart of the nation. The city is popular for its enriched culture and heritage. Jantar Mantar is located right in the city centre with close proximity to various important landmarks of the city. Its address is Sansad Marg, Connaught Place, New Delhi, Delhi, 110001.
