Abstract

Tabanan Regency has manytourist attraction objects. Among the mis Pura Ulun Danu Beratan Templewhich is a historical heritage of the Mengwi Kingdom. Pura Ulun Danu Beratan Temple requires good management and preservation in order to become a worthy and interesting cultural and historical site to visit. The type of research used in this study is descriptive using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study include observation, interviews, and documentations. The research showed that one of the efforts made by local managers and government for the preservation of Pura Ulun Danu Beratan Temple was by establishing tourism awareness groups and educating the surrounding, community so that all parties from the management and the surrounding community could participate in the preservation of the Pura Ulun Danu Beratan historical site.
