Abstract

Sanglen beach is a white sand beach and still beautiful because it has not been touched by may tourists. Sanglen beach is located in Kelor hamlet, Kemadang village, Tanjungsari district, Gunungkidul regency. The study uses qualitative methods as research procedures that produce descriptive data by conducting interview, questionnaires, observation, documents and triangulation. This research focuses on developing Sanglen beach tourism in Gunungkidul regency with the aim of being able to be recognized by the wider community. Based on the result of research that Sanglen tourism development has been very good. In terms of increasing management and the participation of the government and the community also applying sapta charm to build the image of tourism, especially the image of Sanglen beach.
