Abstract

Dieng Plateu Theater is the one destination at Dieng Plateu Area, Wonosobo, Central Java. The purpose of Dieng Plateu Theater that is can give educational to society and tourism aboud DDieng Plateu Area about natural, culture, and regional use one of it is geothermal through of documenter film. The research method used is qualitative. Data collection techniques conducted through interviews, observations, documentation and triangulation. Data processing techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, withdrawal of conclusions and verification. Analysts used are SWOT analysis. Based on the results of the study shows that: (1) Promotion strategy of Dieng Plateu Theater still not optimal, the first to use media social (instagram, facebook, website) is not optimal, this is indicated by there are not social media of Dieng Plateu Theater. The promotional efforts currently being carried out such us tourism exhibition and with GENPI comunity (Gerakan Pesona Indonesia). (2) The resistor factors of Dieng Plateu Theater still studied to find a solution and always coordinated with internal and external institutes to increase the number of tourist visits.
