Abstract

The problem discussed in this study is the management of Kali Kuning hills to increase tourist visits in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta. This study aims to find out how the strategies carried out in the management of Kali Kuning Hill tourist attraction to increase tourist visits in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. While the tectics of data collection used in this study were observation, interviews and questionnaires. After the collected data is then analyzed the data using the SWOT technique. The results of the research obtained show that overall, tourist facilities and supporting facilities in Kali Kuning Hill are complete. However, the condition of the facility and the area in Kali Kuning is poorly maintained. Facilities at Kali Kuning are made from natural materials such as wood, bamboo and stone. Some chairs made of wood are already porous and cracked. Managers should pay attention to this to be replaced or repaired, for the sake of comfort and safety of tourists.
