Abstract

Sondokoro Argowisata is located on Mangkunegaran, Bojonegaran, Karanganyar, Central Java. Argowisata started its activities in 2005. In the past it was only a sugar factory and opened itself by setting up metered tourism and the sugar industry that had a nuanced past. This agrotourism highlights educational tourism, which is to see the processing of sugar cane into granulated sugar. In addition, there are many children's playgrounds in Sondokoro, because the initial goal of establishing Sondokoro Argowisata is family tourism. the research method used is the qualitative method. While the data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interviews, and literature studies. After the data obtained is collected then the data analysis is performed using SWOT analysis techniques. Sondokoro Argowisata has a superior tourist attraction, namely educational tourism by seeing the potential sugar making process is sufficient enough only requires development and additional potential, and the addition of facilities and infrastructure facilities and repair facilities such as public toilets, prayer rooms, and gazebos that have started damaged, with this strategy, the Sondokoro Argotourism object will continue and more tourists will visit. Access to Argotourism Sondokoro is already good and paved to the tourist attraction is very easy to reach.
