Abstract

Gunungkidul Regency has a lot of coastal tourism potential, one of the interesting beaches to visit is Mbuluk Beach which is located in Kemadang, Tanjungsari, Gunungkidul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires, documentation and observation. Data processing techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, verification and triangulation. The analysis used is the SWOT analysis. The community has a role in the development of Mbuluk Beach, but until now in the development of Mbuluk Beach, there is still no role from the government. Development strategies that can be carried out include improving access, increasing promotion, and improving tourism facilities that are already available.
