Abstract

The vihara which is located in pucangsawit, jebres, solo is inaugurated in 2002. The attractiveness of the vihara is the building of the vihara and the white temple which is the only one in solo The method of the research used by the researcher is qualitative method. The techniques of collecting data in this research are observation, interview, documentation and triangulation. The researcher uses SWOT analyses technique to analyze the data, draw the conclusion and verivication the data . Based on the data which is collected by the researcher during the research, the reacher draw a conclusion. The conclusion is Vihara Dhamma Sundara has many potentials to be religious tourism object in solo. The possibility make the vihara becoume relgious tourism object is big, because Solo does not have any religious tourism object. The uniqueness of the vihara make the tourist come to the vihara. The mayority of the tourist is teenager and mature people. The congregation of the vihara also happy when the tourist come to vihara, because the tourist help the promotion of Vihara Dhamma Sundara to people.
