Abstract

Yogyakarta is a destination with many interesting tourist attractions. Yogyakarta tourist attractions can have various types of attractions, the main component of which is culture. One of them is Payak's cultural heritage. The cultural heritage of the Payak Site was discovered around 1970 by a mason and the Payak Site is known as the ancient lightning. The method used in this study is a qualitative method using data collection techniques of observation, interviews, documentation, and data processed by SWOT analysis. The results of the SWOT analysis used in this study indicate that the payak site is a type of tourism that can be developed by utilizing the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that exist in the payak site
