Abstract

The title of this research is "Efforts to develop Tanjung Tuha Beach Tourism Objects to Increase Tourist Visits During the Covid-19 Pandemic Period in South Lampung Regency, Lampung". The purpose of this research is to identify and know the right strategy to develop Tanjung Tuha Beach in South Lampung. In addition, this research is also useful to searching what impacts are faced during COVID-19 and how the government and surrounding communities are trying to overcome the effects of Covid-19. The type of this research is qualitative with data collection using observation, interviews, documentation, data reduction, data triangulation and drawing conclusions. This data collection is then analyzed using the SWOT matrix method. The results of this study are that the Tanjung Tuha destination has implemented health protocols but accessibility, cleanliness, security, tourist attractions are still lacking. The most needed strategy from Tuha Beach is to make improvements and promote promotions from both the manager, government and the surrounding community so that it can attract tourists to come to visit Tuha Beach.
