Abstract

Cibeureum Lake is a lake that is naturally formed, and is located on land with a sunken soil shape. Cibeureum Lake has an area of 38 Ha. Apart from tourism, this lake also supports the daily needs of the local community. Most of the residents use the lake to find fish and find water spinach. The method in this research uses qualitative methods. In collecting data, observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documents were used. Data processing techniques use data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The analysis used is the SWOT analysis. Based on the formulation of the problem regarding the tourism development of Lake Cibeureum and the role of the government, the authors convey that its progress includes expanding road access, collaborating with the government, optimizing tourism promotion and maintenance or adding supporting facilities and improving the quality of competent human resources in the tourism sector to support tourist satisfaction.
