Abstract

The Tourism Village Nongkosawit is a local culture based tourist attraction with purposes of education and culture in Sub-district Nongkosawit, Gunungpati, Semarang City, Province Central Java. The Tourism Village Nongkosawit is also one of many tourism villages that thrives in Semarang. One of The Tourism Village Nongkosawit's main attraction and becomes its special feature is Omah Pang. Omah means house and Pang means tree branches This research used qualitative methods with descriptive approach as research method. This method describes the components of tourism, the potency of tourist attractions, the maintainance of The Tourism Village Nongkosawit, and the involvement of government and people in this stuff. The research shows that The Tourism Village Nongkosawit already has good accesbility. The management, government, and people involve in the maintainance of The Tourism Village Nongkosawit really well all together. The attractions get better. It has quite adequate and complete facilities, but some of them need to be improved. And also The Tourism Village Nongkosawit has a good security system. During Covid-19 pandemic, The Tourism Village Nongkosawit has been applying the health protocole in accordance with applicable regulations.
