Abstract

Gundaling Hill is one of the natural tourist attractions in Berastagi City, Karo Regency. Gundaling Hill offers natural beauty in the form of very beautiful natural scenery. Gundaling Hill is the only natural tourist attraction that offers views of Mount Sibayak in Berastagi City. The author uses the type of qualitative research and sampling techniques and in this study is to use the Non Probability Sampling technique type of purposive sampling. Method of collecting data ; Interview, Observation and Documentation. Data processing is made in reduction, display, verification and triangulation. Data analysis using SWOT analysis. The results showed that the tourist attractions on Gundaling Hill were quite satisfying but not yet supported by other artificial tourist attractions, the absence of new technology, very minimal human resources and cleanliness at tourist sites that were still dirty, making many tourists rarely take long trips to the area Gundaling Hill.
