Abstract
Tukul Reservoir is located in Karangdede Village, Arjosari District, Pacitan, East Java. This reservoir has a capacity of 8.68 million cubic meters with an area of about 0.6 hectares. Tukul Reservoir is considered to be able to accommodate 300 liters of raw water per second, reduce flooding to 44.86 cubic meters per second, conserve water resources, and has the potential to generate electricity of 0.26 megawatts, and can irrigate 600 hectares of rice fields. With this reservoir, it is hoped that the availability of water for the Pacitan community, especially in the Arjosari sub-district, can be slightly fulfilled. The management of the Tukul Reservoir and the Karanggede Village Government have not made plans for the construction of other attractions besides the reservoir. The role of the surrounding community in the development of the Tukul reservoir has already begun to be seen directly from some of the workers who are building facilities near the reservoir, which are residents of Karanggede themselves. the management and village government are developing supporting facilities and infrastructure needed by all groups which are expected to attract high interest in visiting the Tukul Reservoir.
