Abstract

Gunung Kidul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta has good coastal potential so that it can become a vessel for fishing tourism. Nampu beach is located in the village of Jepitu, Girisubo, Gunung Kidul, Special Region of Yogyakarta, which has natural potential that can be developed into a sport fishing tourism attraction. Although there is no universal definition of fishing tourism, fishing tourism is one of the most popular tourist activities in the world today. The definition of fishing for sports activities is more precisely not intended for a fisherman, but people who like fishing activities involve a lot of fun outdoors. Apart from having fun, there may be the added benefit of exercising. This is what researchers want to know about the potential for sport fishing to boost a better tourist attraction at Nampu Beach.
