Abstract
Rumah Limas Potong is the last traditional Melayu house in Batam. Rumah Limas Potong is one of the tourist attractions of Melayu history and culture in Batam. As the last traditional Melayu house that stands in Batam, it is necessary to carry out a strategy to preserve it in order to create the next generation and to maintain the heritage of Melayu history in the middle of a heterogeneous ethnic and culture. The research objective is to see how to conservation effort at Rumah Limas Potong during the covid-19 pandemic and figure out the strategies to conserve it. The research method used qualitative methods with data obtained from observation, interviews and documentation. The data processing technique used in this research reduction, data display, data verification and triangulation. The analysis used in this research is SWOT analysis. Based on the data analysis carried out in this suidy, it can be denied that the conservation of Rumah Limas Potong os to get help from various elements such as the organization, the government and the local communities.
