Abstract

Mepantigan art is a blend between traditionaland modern martial arts using mud pond as ashow stage. As a tourist attraction, a proper managementbecomes the essential things. The method used are interview, questionnaies, observation, and dokumentation. Analysis of data used is SWOT. In efforts the preserve and develop of thegovernment against the tradition ofmepantigan is still not optimal, just form a letter of statement only. From the result of interviews with mepantigancampaign that is done still limited from mouth to mouth. Then via the internet, electronicmedia, and social media. The effectiveness of the promotion is stilllacking. Because there are still many touristwho don’t know about mepantigan tradition.
