Abstract

The Dayak Customary Home Management Strategy is still in the stage of improving the facilities in Dayak Traditional House by managing with cultural events, and adding facilities with complete. With the government prohibition program to change the original form of Dayak Traditional House The role of the community and the government is still not synergize in the development and management of customary houses of the Dayak in order to increase tourist visits. This research uses qualitative research method is a research method based on positive post philosophy, is used to examine the natural object condition where the researcher is as a key instrument, source sampling and data are done purposively and snowball. The analysis used is swot analysis and swot matrix, internal and external environment factor in research. The role of government has played a role in developing Dayak Customary House and increasing tourist visit.
