Abstract
Ngiroboyo Beach is one of the beaches located in the south of Pacitan regency. This research aims to identify the tourism potential of Ngiroboyo Beach to be developed, the role of government and society, as well as strategies taken in the development of Ngiroboyo Beach as a tourist attraction so interesting to be visited by tourists. Ngiroboyo Beach is still managed by the community and the village government. The type of research is qualitative. Methods used in this study are questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation. The analytical technique used in this research is SWOT analysis based on the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that found in Ngiroboyo Beach. The result of this research is role of government in the development of Ngiroboyo Beach is not so obvious because there is no regulation from governing to development of this beach. However, the role of society is very visible jeals in the development since the opening of Ngiroboyo Beach as a tourist attraction. For that needed a strategy in its development such as cooperation with the government, tourism training, as well as optimal promotion.
