Abstract

Pulau Panjang is one of the natural tourist attraction that is categorized as an island located in Ujung Batu village, Jepara sub-district, Jepara regency, Central Java province. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. Data is taken directly on Pulau Panjang. Data collection techniques are observation, interview, documentation and swot. Based on observations, interviews and documentation it is known that Pulau Panjang is an island that still looks so natural and quiet that it has its own charm for the tourists. Pulau Panjang is managed by the Tourism Office of Jepara Regency and the government's role towards the development of Pulau Panjang is good enough, the government provides training and guidance, such as tour guide training and safety training of tourists who board the tourist vessels with the availability of buoys and does not exceed ship capacity.
