Abstract

Art Rinidng Gumbengis locatedin Bejji village of duren hamlet ngawen.Which is beji village located in the northern parf of the district of Gunung Kidul.The art of Rinding Gumbeng consists of three blower rinding,two gumbeng hitters,one drummer,two drum beats,and three singers which are called as scavengers..Art Rinding Gumbeng is made of special bamboo and is an art that is played without notes tone and is only found in Beji village. The role of the government is always to provide land or container for community Rinding Gumbeng by always include Rinidng Gumbeng in the event held by the government either by the cultural office,tourism office or outside the agency. The type of research used in this study is qualitative research which is a new methol and is less patterned.
