Abstract

Topeng Malangan Kedungmonggo is one of the unique handicrafts from Malang which has unique motifs or patterns. The motive topeng malangan kedungmonggo very diverse but the famous is the mask of Panji and goddess sekartaji. This is the background of this research is because Topeng Malangan Kedungmonggo is a mask of inheritance since the time of Majapahit kingdom which until now descended to the grandchildren and many people who have not known the Topeng Malangan Kedungmonggo. The methode of the research is kulaitatif. The metode of kualitatif is a form of research have a meaning or indicated to describing the situation of the research object based on the look and as it should be.The results showed that the development effort of Topeng Malang Kedungmonggo has been done quite a lot by the manager of Malang region as well as the role of Government and society.
