Abstract

West Bandung Regency is one district that has not a lot of tourism potential with a varienty of tourist attractions. Semanu no lose the tourism potential of the area. Curug Malela a new potential managed to thrive as a tourist attraction in West Bandung. This study aims to determine the role of communities in the management, identify strengths and weaknesses in developing and introducing natural tourist attractions to tourists. This study uses qualitative descriptive and SWOT analysis. The research focuses on the development of tourism Curug Malela as news destinations in West Bandung. The result of this research is the need to improve the promotion improving the quality of human resources, managing more innovation to create a tourist attraction and expanding facilities were not yet eligible for tourists.
