Abstract

Pati Regency has a wide - range of tourism potential scattered in almost all districts in Pati District, both natural and artificial.And local art in the district of starch is also still often in performances. One of the local arts owned by the Pati district is Barongan art. The art Barongan including one of the cultural tourism in Pati district which is currently still in the show. The author's research method is qualitative descriptive. And use SWOT analysis to analyze data. Art Barongan existing in Pati district is still preserved. Preservation such as held ruwatan, sedekah bumi, and cultural festival. Local governments help by promoting and organizing cultural events for local art. The constraints faced by artists are the limited tools used and the younger generation today choose modern art.
