Abstract

The development of weaving village Sangubanyu supported by the government and people who are very aware that in the village of Sangubanyu there is a potential to be developed into cultural tourism in preserving weaving and how to weave that still use traditional looms owned Sangubanyu village that is the awareness of the younger generation as a driver. The existence of young generation with creative thinking and innovation that will be able to run various cultural events, cultural festivals will help all artisans in particular weaving in exploiting the culture and incessant promotion can provide opportunities for weaving Sangubanyu village into an icon of cultural tourism in Sleman Yogyakarta.. Descriptive qualitative research is a research method that only describes or describe variable rapport research without seeking other variables.
