Abstract

Nini Thowong dance is a traditional Javanese entertainment that is very unique and the fiber will be sacred because it is not found in other areas. Nini Thowong dance is loaded with high artistic, tradition and mystical elements. In Nini Thowong dance a doll becomes a must when performing. The dolls are dressed up and dressed as a real dancer. In today's era, dance is packed as a folk art entertainment that is more interesting. Descriptive qualitative research is a research method that only describes or describe variable rapport research without seeking other variables. Nini Thowong dance is there because in antiquity used to seek medicine for people who are sick. Now this dance becomes a staging that can attract people and tourists to witness it because of the uniqueness and kebistisan that is not owned by other dances.
