Abstract

Batu City has many tourist attractions. One of them is Coban Talun tourist attraction. Strategy is needed from the government through Perum Perhutani in developing attractions in the city of Batu, especially on the attractions Coban Talun as Ekotourism more interesting and enthused by the community. Type of research used in this research is descriptive by using qualitative approach. Technique of collecting data in this research with observation (observation), interview, and documentation. The results showed that one of the efforts made by Perum Perhutani is to maximize the development of Coban Talun tourism object which made as modern tourism by doing development such as nature tourism, adventure tourism, environmental rides, and education of flora and fauna. In general, the results show that Perhutani Perhutani has maximized possible efforts to develop the Coban Talun tourism object. Society also plays an important role for the development of Coban Talun. The community participation of Coban Talun area is realized in the form of participation and participation on tourism socialization.
