Abstract

Balanga Museum is a museum owned by Central Kalimantan, located in Palangkaraya City. Balanga Museum is a place to store, take care, exhibit cultural heritage and also can provide information, cultural introduction and positive understanding to tourists about the Dayak cultural heritage. But the community has not participated much in the development of Balanga Museum. And the lack of experts in the field of tourism in managing the Museum Balanga. This research uses qualitative method by using data collection method of observation, interview, questionnaire, documentation and literature study and using SWOT analysis method in analyzing data. With the counseling to the community in hopes can be a trigger so that people can participate in developing Balanga Museum as a regional asset and develop the quality and creativity of managers in the fieldof tourism by providing specialized traning on the science of tourism for all workes at Balanga Museum and recruitment of skilled workers in tourism.
