Abstract
Konawe District is one of the districts in Southeast Sulawesi. Konawe district has a beautiful leading tourist attraction that called Bokori Island. Bokori Island is an uninhabited island district which is now a marine tourism object located in Konawe. Good management strategy in Bokori Island is expected to increase the number of tourists domestic and foreign visits. The role of the government in the development of Bokori Island as tourism object is crucial to provide adequate facilities and infrastructure. The role of the community maintaining and preserving Bokori Island is also important and developing Bokori Island tourism object. Keywords: Effort, Development, Tourist Object. The collaboration between government and community in promoting Bokori Island attraction is crucial thing to do by organizing national and international events and promoting through various of media. Author used Qualitative methods and used SWOT analysis in analyzing data.
