Abstract

The tourism object of the Hutan Payau have a good enough potential to serve as a tourism and educational center. But there are still some problems that exist in the tourism object of Hutan Payau. Among the issues of cleanliness in the tourist area, tourist facilities, lack of tourism information. Research method is qualitative research method. The purpose of this research is to know what development is done so tha the tourism object of Hutan Payau is getting better than before. As well as how the role of society and goverment managing of supporting the existing development in the attractions. The analytical technique used in this research is SWOT analysis. From the result of research conducted shows that there has been development done both in terms of facilities and the game. Promotional activities have also been conducted but still less effective to attract tourist visits outside the city of Cilacap. From that problem, some thing to do is : working with local goverments to build and improve tourism and public facilities, speed up development time, promote through the internet media by creating official websites and improve the quality of service to tourist.
