Abstract

This Study aims to analyze and assist in mapping the potential of kunthulan dance as one of tourism potential , this research also take qualitative research method and as one of the relics of diponegoro war in the form of dance art . . apart from that the author also want in this research can develop and bring benefit for the government and society it self . in practice in the world of cultural tourism has also become one of the important pillars of tourism. the role of tourism here as well as one way to develop and preserve the original culture . Culture in the perspective of tourism, making cultural attrations kunthulan dance as tourism regional icon, the solutions that can in kunthulan academy, identify concept of development of cultural attrations based dance kunthulan as power attraction of cultural tourism in magelang regency. To know the role of government and society in the preservation of kunthulan dance as alternative reference in determining government policy in terms of packing culture in tourism
