Abstract

Simpang Lima is a field in Semarang city centre, and the park is where five roads meet. There are Jl. Pahlawan, Jl. Pandardaran, Jl. Ahmad Yani, Jalan Gajah Mada and Jl. A Dahlan. On the side of the park, there are mall and department store stand. There are Hotel Ciputra (tallest building, 9 floor on the top of Mall Ciputra, approx. 51m), Hotel Horison, Hotel Grand Santika, Mall Ciputra, E Plaza and Plaza Simpang Lima. Every Saturday and Sunday, large number of Semarang citizens gathering here. In accordance with the methods that researchers use, in this type of qualitative research, appropriate data collection method such as, observation method, survey method, interview method and documentation method. Cooperation with the local communities are very helpful in managing, care and training tourism to the surrounding community can improve human resources that will impact on improving services.
