Abstract

Pontianak city is the capital of west Borneo, Pontianak has some interesting attractions one of which is the tourist attraction Aloe Vera Center. Aloe Vera in Pontianak different from other place, which becomes excess is AloeVera that exist in Pontianak bigger than Aloe Vera in other place. The role of the government in developing Aloe Vera Center through agriculture, industry, and trade offices as well as offices of cooperatives and UKM is indispensable in contributing counseling and guidance to farmers and to processing Aloe Vera. The Aloe Vera Center's development strategy is to provide information and education to travelers on how to grow aloe vera and tourists can see firsthand how to manage Aloe Vera to various types of foods, beverages and cosmetics.
