Abstract

Indonesia is a country with great potential for tourism because Indonesia has a thousand island with beautiful natural resources, diverse cultures, languages, religions, and the heritages that could be potential tourist attractions. Many natural resources in the island of Flores, one of them is Mengeruda Hotsring located in Ngada district. If this hot Spring is properly managed, it could be one of the sources of income for the Ngada distric and coulnd also have a positive impact on the local people. Method that used for getting the information is qualitative research method namely by observation, interview, and questionnaire. The result of research note that mengeruda hotspring is managed by the local government, the development of mengeruda hotspring is already in the middle level, it seen from the infrastructure and facilities have been available. While the local people only as the use of tourist attraction like utilizing existing vacant land by building small businesses around the tourist attraction.
