Abstract

Wayang krucil is one of the typical art of Blora which is currently rarely encountered existence. Art brought from East Java is one type of puppets that are small and made of wood formed flat. Currently wayang krucil is more often performed at village events in Blora such as wedding, sunatan,gas deso, etc. Puppets that have rarely appeared this also only has two active dalang in Blora that make this krucil puppet must be preserved before the more unknown by the people themselves. Research Methods Scientific Articles on the Efforts of Preserving Wayang Krucil as Performing Arts in Blora Regency. Using Descriptive Qualitative method where the research was conducted in Blora Regency in September-October 2017. For analysis on this Scientific Article using SWOT data analysis with determination of internal environment factor and external environment factor to get correct result of analysis. For the future, it is expected that there will be training of dalang krucil in order to regenerate so that this art can be enjoyed for long period of time and also development of wayang krucil to be better known by public besides Blora.
