Abstract

The 17 Riung islandsMarine Nature Park is one of the natural tourist destinations in Ngada district, East Nusa Tenggara and has a lot of potential, good and feasible to be developed as a leading destination. The author finds answers to all problem formulations in this scientific article by using descriptive qualitative methods and by collecting data in the form of observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation, while for data processing using data reduction, display data, verification and triangulation. From the results of research by using the above methods, it is known that the government has done development development, but still less than the maximum as necessary the addition of facilities such as toilets, changing place, and also gazebo. The role of society is also still less than the maximum because of lack of knowledge about tourism obtained. The research was conducted at 17 Riung islands Marine Nature Park in November 2017.
