Abstract

Tourism starts developing so fastly. Tourism started get attention on tourist’heart in the world. It proven by travelling have became the needs for everyone. Methods of research use qualitative methods data analysis by using SWOT analysis which is SWOT analysis is used to formulate strategies for identification of various factors strategally based on understanding and knowledge an object. Umbul pengging pool is one of historical and culture tourism in boyolali. The role of Boyolali Local Government of developing the tourism object seems under expectation. These can be seen from the incomplete and unkempt condition of the facilities. While, the role of local community is to actively provide information about the tourism object to any tourists. The strategy performed by the local government and the tourism organizer are promoting Umbul Pengging and conserving the local attractions available. .
