Abstract

The development of tourism in indonesia is insaparable from indonesia’s richness from nature ,tourism, culture, history, religion, culinary and special intersests, which makes indonesia a tourist destination of many interesting and great potentialsof the cultural tourism sector, such as thecukture residing in east kalimantan one of them is typical dayak hat that is a Seraung from the use , the motif and the unique shape its make the mandatory sharper to be preserved. The reseach is descirtive qualitative reseach by taking the data through observation of questionnaires and interviews. The result of the resach is the material of makinh the sharp hat and its function and the effort of preserfation of the hat of seraung in volving various sector.
