Abstract

Karanganyar has the potential as a tourist destination, as evidenced by the many diverse tourism assets and diverse cultures that are not less interesting with other areas located in the province of Central Java. Some tourist objects are Cetho Temple, Tawangmangu Tourism Area, Kemuning Tea Plantation, and no less interesting is Agro Tourism Amanah. Researchers conduct research on Amanah Agro Tourism for the development of tourist sites and anticipate the upcoming competition. In this article, researchers use qualitative methods related to agro-tourism development. Data collection conducted by observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. The data obtained then analyzed using SWOT analysis. From the results of research that the authors do, obtained the analysis that the development of Amanah Agro Tourism has been running well, they are always improving and innovating for the rides. Even so, there are still facilities that need to be repaired and more developed. There is no role of local government in terms of development of this tourist location. Amanah Agro Tourism is managed by the private sector. So far the government has only played a role in the establishment permit and the legality of CV.
