Abstract

Sragen Regency is one of the tourist destination and is one of the regencies in Central Java which has a diversity of attractions both natural as well as cultural. In addition Sragen regency is a batik production center one of the Tourism Village Batik Kliwonan. In this article, researchers use qualitative methods related to the development of Tourism Village Batik Kliwonan, , in collecting data conducted by observation, interview, quisioner, and literature study. The data has been obtained then the author analyzed using SWOT analysis. From the results of research that the authors get, from the analysis that the Tourism Village Batik Kliwonan has considerable potential, ranging from nature tourism, culture and batik industry but the development of Tourism Village Batik Kliwonan not run well. The government has not fully supported the realization of Kliwonan Batik Tour village, and also the lack of closeness among invidu because in the Tourism Village Batik Kliwonan many who do the same business so it is difficult to form a tourist village. Therefore it is expected from the Goverment and society Batik Kliwonan tourism village work together to strive to the maximum possible for the development of tourist villages of batik.
